After soaring high against Mason City last week, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Waterloo West were completely outmatched, falling 7-49 to Ankeny Centennial.
The defeat dropped Waterloo West's record to 2-1. The win bumped Ankeny Centennial's record up to 3-0.
Next week Waterloo West take on Hoover at 7:00 PM. Ankeny Centennial will be staying on the road, facing off against Dowling Catholic.
