The Harmony Longhorns will challenge the Osceola Kowboys at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Harmony will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
On Thursday, everything went Harmony's way against Mount Dora Christian Academy as Harmony made off with a 13-2 win. The Longhorns might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by six runs or more this season.
Riley Bonini looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

On the hitting side, Samuel Castillo was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Westin Thompson was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.
Harmony always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mount Dora Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .333.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Osceola ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past Tohopekaliga 6-5. The victory continues a trend for the Kowboys in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won four in a row.
Ethan Grant made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Osceola is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 0-4 otherwise. Grant was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jacob Ramos, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Alejandro Martinez, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.
Harmony pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Osceola, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
Osceola's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Harmony hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .366. It's a different story for Osceola, though, as they've only averaged .156. Will they be able to contain Harmony's hitters?
Harmony took their win against Osceola in their previous meeting last Tuesday by a conclusive 16-6. Will Harmony repeat their success, or does Osceola have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
