McCool Junction was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.
Meanwhile, Giltner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 44-14 loss at the hands of Kenesaw. The Hornets were down 41-7 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
McCool Junction now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Giltner, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
Everything came up roses for McCool Junction against Giltner in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, as the team secured a 70-20 victory. In that game, McCool Junction amassed a halftime lead of 42-9, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
