Nampa Christian's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ian Johnson, who rushed for 118 yards on only seven carries. Nampa Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Nate Rundquist, Gunnar Love, and Kaiser Henne picked up one apiece. Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Nampa Christian has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 180.7 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Marsing struggles in that department as they've been averaging 179 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Nampa Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Marsing in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 19-14 win. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
