Bedford waltzed into their contest on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Fremont-Mills Knights a 14-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 15 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Bedford pushed their record up to 18-5-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.1 runs over those games. As for Fremont-Mills, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Coincidentally, Bedford and Fremont-Mills will both be playing East Mills the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will host East Mills on Friday, while the Knights will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
