The Mapletown Maples's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a serious blow against Frazier, falling 66-28. Mapletown was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Frazier apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Leading Frazier to victory were Dailan Mcmanus and Brennen Stewart. Mcmanus scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and six assists, while Stewart scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Those six assists set a new season-high mark for him. Conlan Higbee was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Mapletown's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Frazier, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
Mapletown will head out on the road to face off against Avella at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Avella and Mapletown are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for Frazier, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Jefferson-Morgan at 7:30 p.m. Jefferson-Morgan presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Frazier in Pennsylvania (Jefferson-Morgan is ranked 195th, while Frazier is ranked 398th).
