South Florence is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 47-7 victory over Darlington. The result was nothing new for the Bruins, who have now won nine contests by 28 points or more so far this season.

South Florence's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Malik Robinson, who picked up 47 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Those two receiving touchdowns gave Robinson a new career-high. Gabe McLaughlin was in the mix as well, providing South Florence with two scores.
South Florence was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 264 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 164 rushing yards in nine consecutive matchups.
South Florence didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Johnquis Johnson and Amare Reaves. Reaves got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Bishop England didn't have too much trouble with Lower Richland on Friday as they won 24-7.
Bishop England's win came from a few key players South Florence will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was William Donato, who threw for 188 yards and one TD on only 14 passes, and also rushed for 46 yards. Brody Tonon was another key player, picking up 128 receiving yards and one touchdown.
One reason for the win was Bishop England's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for nine sacks. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Matthew Ponkow and Jackson Kunz, who each picked up 2.5 sacks apiece. Ponkow was another major factor on D, picking up 2.5 sacks and making ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
South Florence's record is now 10-1. As for Bishop England, their record now sits at 8-3.
