The Moses Brown Quakers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mt. Pleasant Kilties at 6:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Moses Brown's favor as the squad sits on 19 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while the Kilties have been banged up by seven consecutive losses on the road.
Moses Brown put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Mount St. Charles Academy as Moses Brown made off with a 66-41 win.
Moses Brown found their leader in underclassman Lauren Bousquet, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Bousquet has scored at least a third of Moses Brown's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaelynn Perez, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Mt. Pleasant took a serious blow against the Clippers on Tuesday, falling 53-25. Mt. Pleasant has not had much luck with the Clippers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Moses Brown's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Mt. Pleasant, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.
