The Kilgore Bulldogs put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand Carthage a 4-0 shutout. Kilgore might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won ten matchups by three goals or more this season.
Kilgore pushed their record up to 13-0-2 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 52 goals over those ten games. As for Carthage, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5-1 record this season.
Kilgore will head out on the road to take on Tatum at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Tatum's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Carthage, they will be playing at home against Center at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
