Meanwhile, Woodland Christian stacked a 15th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They really took it to Vacaville Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 59-32 win at home. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Woodland Christian had established a 21 point advantage.
Woodland Christian relied on the efforts of Tanner Thomas, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and five steals, and Romello Bruhn, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. Bruhn is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Isaiah Hunt, who scored two points along with two steals.
Foresthill is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-13 record this season. As for Woodland Christian, they pushed their record up to 20-6 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Foresthill suffered a grim 82-62 defeat to Woodland Christian when the teams last played back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Bruhn, who scored 38 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
