If Batesburg-Leesville was looking for revenge after losing 41-15 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fox Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Maya Kryshtalowych, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. Kryshtalowych has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Jada Jennings was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Batesburg-Leesville's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Fox Creek, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-14.
Batesburg-Leesville will head out on the road to challenge the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pelion has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 3. As for Fox Creek, they will be playing at home against the Rebels at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
