The Sacred Heart Prep Gators lost against the Serra Padres back in January of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Sacred Heart Prep fell 53-45 to Serra. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Sacred Heart Prep has scored all season.
Several Gators players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was JP Kerrigan, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was TJ O'Brien, who scored 13 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Sacred Heart Prep and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Serra, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
Sacred Heart Prep won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bellarmine College Prep at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th. Serra will be home for the holidays to greet Hillsdale at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
