Deerfield came tearing into Thursday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Parkview Vikings, posting a 69-39 win. The Demons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 20 points or more this season.

Deerfield pushed their record up to 19-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.7 points over those games. As for Parkview, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Deerfield will venture away from home to challenge Madison Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Parkview, they will head out to square off against Palmyra-Eagle at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
