The biggest upset of the week belonged to Mason, who took down 28th ranked Lakota East, 28-13.
The Comets moved up to 39 from 78 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Greater Miami. Mason climbed the ranks as a result of beating the Thunderhawks 28-13.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Colerain and Lakota West. The Cardinals enters the game ranked third in the state, while the Firebirds ranks 12th.
Middletown's Jalin Marshall needs only 37 yards against Hamilton next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Marshall has rushed for 963 yards on 99 carries so far this year.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Lakota West takes on Colerain. Larry Cox's team's offense has scored 218 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Tom Bolden's team has allowed only 84 on the year.
