The St. Charles Cardinals will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Licking Heights Hornets at 7:30 p.m. St. Charles will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 376th, while Licking Heights is ranked 38th).
After a string of four wins, St. Charles' good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 56-45 to St. Francis DeSales.
Meanwhile, Licking Heights had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 63-44 victory over Zanesville.
St. Charles' defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Licking Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
