While Phil Campbell put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Sulligent. The Phil Campbell Bobcats were the clear victor by a 13-0 margin over the Sulligent Blue Devils. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by eight runs or more this season.

Phil Campbell is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. Sulligent is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Phil Campbell Bobcats face off against Mars Hill Bible Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sulligent, they will challenge Carbon Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sulligent has given up an average of 11.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
