It was a good run, but the Fort Thomas Apaches unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 75-67 to Baboquivari. Fort Thomas was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2022.
Fort Thomas' loss came despite strong showings from Channing Wilson and Damare Dosela. Wilson scored 29 points along with two steals, while Dosela scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wilson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kyle Secody, who scored eight points.
Fort Thomas' defeat ended a eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-7. As for Baboquivari, they pushed their record up to 17-5 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
Fort Thomas will take on the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mogollon will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Baboquivari does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
