Legend won the last time they faced ThunderRidge and Leah Tidey did her part to make sure it happened again. The Titans blew past the Grizzlies 3-0 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Tidey, who had 16 assists. Tidey is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.
While Legend won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-23.
Meanwhile, Rock Canyon hadn't done well against Mountain Vista recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Jaguars put the hurt on the Golden Eagles with a sharp 3-0 win.
One reason for the win was Rock Canyon's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 25-11.
Legend's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Rock Canyon, their win bumped their record up to 15-1.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Thursday's match: Legend hasn't let much over the net this season, having averaged 6.8 blocks per game. It's a different story for Rock Canyon, though, as they've been averaging only 1.7 blocks. Given Legend's sizable advantage in that area, the Jaguars will need to find a way to close that gap.
