The Rancho Cotate Cougars will take on the Analy Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rancho Cotate will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
On Thursday, Rancho Cotate was able to grind out a solid win over Piner, taking the game 3-1.
Rancho Cotate walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19, 23-25, 25-15.

Rancho Cotate had a senior duo take command as Izabella Harumi had 21 digs and two aces and Roxana Corona had 13 digs and four aces. With that strong performance, Harumi is now averaging an impressive 10.6 digs per game. ZaTalyah Whitfield also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
St. Vincent de Paul came into Thursday's contest looking for another win against Analy, but Isabella Romine wouldn't allow it. The Tigers put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday with plenty of help from Romine, who had nine digs and two aces. Corona has been hot, having also posted two or more aces the last six times she's played.
Analy was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 25-15.
Rancho Cotate's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Analy, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's matchup: Rancho Cotate has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 6.6 aces per game. However, it's not like Analy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.5 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Everything went Rancho Cotate's way against Analy when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Rancho Cotate made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Cougars repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
