Baseball Recap: Mosley Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

While Mosley put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Karns. The Mosley Dolphins put the hurt on the Karns Beavers with a sharp 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Dolphins, who have now won five games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Peyton Williams, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Xavier Demro was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Mosley's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Karns, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Mosley has already played their next contest, an 8-4 win against Knoxville Catholic on the 20th. As for Karns, they will head out on the road to challenge Halls at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
