After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Saint Andrew's, the David Posnack Jewish Day Rams were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 48-29 victory over Scheck Hillel Community School. That result was just more of the same for these two, as David Posnack Jewish Day also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.
David Posnack Jewish Day found their leader in underclassman Sophia Klein, who scored 15 points along with six steals and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Azafrani, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
The victory got David Posnack Jewish Day back to even at 5-5. As for Scheck Hillel Community School, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.
David Posnack Jewish Day will head out on the road to take on Chaminade-Madonna at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chaminade-Madonna is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. Scheck Hillel Community School will take on Downtown Doral at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
