Canby (Ore.) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring 16 in the fourth quarter to seal a 31-7 victory over
Beaverton (Ore.).
After taking the lead on a
Dominic Shorter touchdown run in the first quarter, the Cougars were up 14-0 at the half.
Canby put up 16 points in the fourth quarter en route to the win. CHS scored on two rushing touchdowns in the quarter, including one by
Cole Thompson.
Beaverton's only touchdown came on a run in the fourth quarter.
Coming into the game the Cougars had allowed 26.5 points per game this year.
The loss comes after Beaverton defeated Sprague 35-34 last week.
