The Bonneville Lakers won the last time they faced the Ogden Tigers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Bonneville walked away with a 52-39 win over Ogden. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bonneville.
Bonneville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sidnee Geerdes, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Geerdes has scored at least 25% of Bonneville's points. Another player making a difference was Baylee Andreasen, who scored 19 points.
Ogden's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Salote Tonga, who scored 9 points along with 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ruth Larsen, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Bonneville now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Ogden, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
Bonneville will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Logan at 5:15 p.m. on December 6th. Ogden won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Park City at 7:00 p.m. on December 6th. Hopefully Park City focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Monday.
