Make it six blowout wins for the Bowne Wildcats this season. They took their matchup on the road on Thursday with ease, bagging a 85-48 victory over Far Rockaway. That 37 points margin sets a new team best for Bowne this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bowne to victory, but perhaps none more so than Christopher Judge, who scored 25 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Judge hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. Darrel Taylor was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Bowne's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.0 points per game. As for Far Rockaway, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bowne will take on Curtis at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Curtis will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 715th, while Bowne is ranked 201st). As for Far Rockaway, they will play host again and welcome Cardozo, where tip off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
