Hart had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They never let the Western Michigan Christian Warriors get on the board and left with a 3-0 win on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Joseph Osorio was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Hart's victory bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Western Michigan Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Hart and Western Michigan Christian could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Pirates will take on Montague at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (462 vs. 96). Meanwhile, Western Michigan Christian (ranked 511th) will meet Shelby (ranked 168th) at 12:00 p.m. on the 30th.
