Unionville won the last time they faced Kennett and things went their way on Monday too. The Longhorns blew past the Blue Demons 14-4. Considering the Longhorns have won seven contests by more than eight runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Unionville got a massive performance out of Shannon Megill, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave Megill a new career-high. Brooke Donnelly was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Unionville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive games.
