The Osceola Kowboys will face off against the Harmony Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Monday, Osceola needed a bit of extra time to put away Tohopekaliga. They skirted past the Tigers 6-5. The Kowboys haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Ethan Grant

Ethan Grant was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Osceola is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 0-4 otherwise. Grant was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jacob Ramos, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Alejandro Martinez was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
Meanwhile, Harmony entered their tilt with Mount Dora Christian Academy on Thursday with nine consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with ten. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 13-2 victory. Considering the Longhorns have won five games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Riley Bonini looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February.
At the plate, Samuel Castillo was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most home runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Westin Thompson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.
Harmony always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mount Dora Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .333.
Harmony's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Osceola, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
Osceola might still be hurting after the 16-6 defeat they got from Harmony in their previous matchup last Tuesday. Can Osceola avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
