The Whale Branch Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 30-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of Beaufort. Whale Branch has not had much luck with Beaufort recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Zaria Coaxum was Whale Branch's leading scorer, having posted five points.
Krystlynn Rogers held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. Rogers took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
Whale Branch's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Beaufort, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Whale Branch will head out on the road to face off against Battery Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beaufort, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on May River at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th. Hopefully May River focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Tuesday.
