Pardeeville never let their opponents score on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Rio Vikings. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by eight runs or more this season.

Caleb Mackey made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, Preston Jenkins was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Logan Young, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Pardeeville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rio only posted an OBP of .062.

Pardeeville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.9 runs over those games. As for Rio, their defeat was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-13.

Pardeeville will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Vikings: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
