The Keller Indians''s game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They claimed a resounding 53-13 victory over Fossil Ridge at home. The result was nothing new for Keller, who have now won four contests by 23 points or more so far this season.
Leading Keller to victory were Cameron Rayford and Beckham Robinson. Rayford rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, while Robinson threw for 138 yards and four touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes. Temi Ericson and his 82 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Keller's victory.
Keller's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Fossil Ridge, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-6.
Keller will face off against Timber Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Timber Creek has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 133 points over their last three games. As for Fossil Ridge, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Keller Central at 7:00 p.m. Keller Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 668th, while Fossil Ridge is ranked 332nd).
