The game was Esparza's 18th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Alayna Petalber, who scored 12 points along with five assists.
Boylan Catholic pushed their record up to 16-2 with that victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.9 points per game. As for Rockford East, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
