The Fort Dorchester Patriots will look to defend their home court on Monday against the A.C. Flora Falcons at 6:30 p.m. Fort Dorchester will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 88th, while A.C. Flora is ranked 22nd).
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 53-20, which was the final score in Fort Dorchester's tilt against Northwood Academy on Saturday.
Meanwhile, A.C. Flora waltzed into Friday's game with three straight wins but they left with four. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 64-35 victory over West Florence. A.C. Flora might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won three matches by 29 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead A.C. Flora to victory, but perhaps none more so than Terriana Gray, who scored 24 points along with 6 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Gray has scored at least 25% of A.C. Flora's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Skylar McCray, who scored 19 points along with 3 steals.
Their wins bumped Fort Dorchester to 3-3 and Northwood Academy to 7-1.
