Allison Sawyer was Pungo Christian Academy's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Sawyer also led the team in rebounds with 11.

Meanwhile, Halifax Academy beat Fayetteville Academy 45-38 on Tuesday.
Karson Ricks and Hayden Hilton were among the main playmakers for Halifax Academy as the former scored 17 points along with 5 steals and the latter dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. The match was Hilton's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddy Bethel, who scored 2 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
Pungo Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Halifax Academy, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Pungo Christian Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 42.5 rebounds per game.
