Memorial has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Crestview Rebels at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Memorial focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday.
On Friday, Memorial was able to grind out a solid win over Newton Falls, taking the game 47-40.
It was another big night for David Moore, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Teyon Harris, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Liberty scored an imposing 64 points on Friday, Crestview still came out on top. Crestview skirted past Liberty 66-64. Crestview's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Memorial now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Crestview, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
Memorial came out on top in a nail-biter against Crestview in their previous meeting back in February, sneaking past 49-47. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Crestview's Kirkland Miller, who scored 20 points along with nine rebounds. Now that he won't be playing on Tuesday, will it be that much easier for Memorial to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
