Larned put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Hoisington Cardinals by a score of 55-46. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 48-37 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kelsi Maier, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance gave Maier a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Kinley Wilkens, who posted ten points in addition to five boards and five steals.

Larned's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-0. As for Hoisington, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Larned wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 44-35 loss against Holcomb on the 14th. As for Hoisington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-55 victory against Bucklin on the 14th.
