The Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs can now show off 21 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Saturday. They blew past Fort Bend Clements, posting a 64-27 win on the road. Fort Bend Austin is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 23 straight.
Leading Fort Bend Austin to victory were Andrea Sturdivant and Shun?teria Anumele. Sturdivant scored 18 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds, while Anumele scored 25 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Sturdivant has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 14 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Pfeiffer Greene, who scored nine points along with three steals and two blocks.
Fort Bend Austin's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 27-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.4 points per game. As for Fort Bend Clements, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-20 record this season.
Coincidentally, Fort Bend Austin and Fort Bend Clements will both be playing Fort Bend Travis the next time they take the court. Fort Bend Clements will head out to face Fort Bend Travis at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Fort Bend Austin will host them at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
