The Northwest Yeshiva Lions pushed their score all the way to 57 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They lost to Bear Creek on the road by a decisive 74-57 margin. Northwest Yeshiva has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Northwest Yeshiva still got an impressive performance from Sam Weichbrodt, who scored 21 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Sam Chernicoff was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 6 rebounds.
Northwest Yeshiva's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bear Creek, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest Yeshiva will face off against Eastside Prep at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bear Creek, they will head out on the road to face off against Sultan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
