Muchin College Prep is 0-4 against Kennedy since November of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Muchin College Prep Mountain Lions will be staying on the road to face off against the Kennedy Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. on January 19th.
Last Wednesday, Muchin College Prep ended up a good deal behind DRW College Prep and lost 51-35.
Meanwhile, Kennedy entered their tilt with Hubbard with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Kennedy walked away with a 65-57 win over Hubbard on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Kennedy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Joseph Dahl, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds, and Michael Gallas, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. Gallas is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Roberto Guzman, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Muchin College Prep has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Kennedy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season.
Things could have been worse for Muchin College Prep, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 69-53 loss to Kennedy when the teams last played back in January of 2023. Can Muchin College Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
