Wolfe County's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 20 hits and ten walks to lead the league in both categories.
Creech tossed 14 strikeouts this week while on the hill for the Wolves, adding to his league-best total of 67.
Jeffrey Whisman's five RBIs this week were tops in the league. Whisman has 33 RBIs this season, second in the league.
Whisman was an RBI machine on Wednesday, as he knocked in five runs during the Wolves' 13-3 win over
Magoffin County. He went 3-for-3 and scored one run.
Creech led Jackson City to a win on May 20, as he notched 14 strikeouts to beat Wolfe County, 3-0. Over his six innings pitched he allowed three runs on three hits.
