On Thursday, StoneBridge made easy work of Gateway Christian and carried off a 3-0 victory.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant StoneBridge was: they took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-10, 25-10.

StoneBridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lauren Bickley, who had six digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Bickley a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Broadwater Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Portsmouth Christian on Thursday, taking the game 3-1. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.
Broadwater Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-8, 25-20, 25-12.
StoneBridge's win bumped their record up to 23-0. As for Broadwater Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's match: StoneBridge has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 8.4 aces per game. However, it's not like Broadwater Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 22.9 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
