The Booker Kiowas lost against the West Texas Comanches back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Booker fell just short of West Texas by a score of 45-43.
Despite the loss, Booker still got an impressive performance from Hagen Chisum, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 14 rebounds. That was a full 55.8% of Booker's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Adrian Rosales was another key contributor, scoring five points along with four steals.
Booker's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for West Texas, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Booker will take on Sunray at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Sunray is coming into the game with three straight defeats at home, meaning Booker will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. As for West Texas, they will head out on the road to challenge Gruver at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Gruver has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 265 points over their last four matches.
