Marengo extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 21-7 in the process. Everything went their way against the Johnsburg Skyhawks as they made off with a 14-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 17 games by six runs or more so far this season.

As for Johnsburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

For Johnsburg's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sarah Nethaway, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Marengo is set to take on their familiar foe Harvard at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Johnsburg will square off against rival Plano at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
