Jefferson moved up to 402 from 436 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Huron. The Bears were able to move up by defeating Flat Rock 48-13.
St. Mary Catholic Central added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Airport, 27-7. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Riverview's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Drew Kroll threw for 132 and 2 touchdowns and Nolan Glime had 113 yards receiving. On the ground Josh Smith chipped in 268 yards.
The Pirates' dynamic duo of Kroll and Glime proved tough for Huron to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Smith was a passing and rushing force as Riverview bested the Chiefs. Smith's favorite target this week was Glime, who caught 7 passes for 113 yards.
Smith was a force in the backfield as Jeff Stergalas' team defeated Huron.
Milan's Robert Kanitz and Gage Smith led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Kanitz has thrown for 647 yards this season, while Smith, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 19 catches for 332 yards. Smith from the Pirates leads the league in rushing with 759 yards.
The top two teams in Huron will face off this week when first place St. Mary Catholic Central takes on second place Milan.
