Horizon Christian fell 51-42 to Portland Adventist Academy on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Horizon Christian has scored all season.
Portland Adventist Academy was led to victory by Oliver Thompson and Dane Petersen. Thompson scored 20 points, while Petersen dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Petersen has scored at least 25% of Portland Adventist Academy's points.
Horizon Christian now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Portland Adventist Academy, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.
Horizon Christian will head out on the road to face off against Valley Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Valley Catholic will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Portland Adventist Academy will take on Oregon Episcopal at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oregon Episcopal and Portland Adventist Academy are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
