Jordan-Matthews received a tough blow as they fell 47-33 to Graham. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Jordan-Matthews in their matchups with Graham: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, Jordan-Matthews still got an impressive performance from Reagan Smith, who scored four points along with 20 rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Yamilet Lozano, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Even though they lost, Jordan-Matthews smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Jordan-Matthews has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Graham, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-14.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jordan-Matthews will face off against Northwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Northwood presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Jordan-Matthews in North Carolina (Northwood is ranked 74th, while Jordan-Matthews is ranked 417th). As for Graham, they will head out on the road to square off against Cummings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cummings comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
