Eli Dukes Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Palma had to settle for second even though Eli Dukes put up the best numbers he has all season. Dukes rushed for 271 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 58 yards.
Aptos's probably not too fond of Dukes given he always seems to get the better of them. When Dukes last faced the Mariners back in October of 2023, he rushed for 115 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries.

Casey Macconnell posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Soquel, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. Summerrill and Soquel will take on Everett Alvarez at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
