Joe Aranda posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Clint is 7-1-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 9-10 otherwise.

Aranda's effort led Clint over Bowie and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
