Volleyball Recap: Northgate Takes a Loss

After flying high against Westlake on Tuesday, Northgate came back down to earth. The Vikings fell just short of the North Cobb Christian Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2016.

North Cobb Christian found their leader in sophomore Ryan Chesser, who had eight digs and four assists.

Northgate moved to 6-10 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for North Cobb Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Northgate has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Kell on the 21st. As for North Cobb Christian, they will be taking part in a tournament against Mount Paran Christian at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Mount Paran Christian will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something North Cobb Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
