Thomas McAuley posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
