William Allen is 2-1 when  Moreta allows one or  fewer  earned runs, but 1-15 otherwise. Moreta was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with two  doubles and two  RBI.
 Moreta wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Durell Holden, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run.
 William Allen's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Louis E. Dieruff, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.
